1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of URLog.io (the "Service"), including our AI speech-to-text tools, analytics features, and API. By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

URLog.io provides AI-powered speech-to-text transcription and related analysis tools on a subscription basis. Features, usage limits, and quotas depend on the subscription plan you purchase, as described on our Pricing page. We may update, improve, or modify the Service at any time. Transcription output is generated automatically by AI models and is provided "as is" without any guarantee of accuracy.

3. Subscriptions, Billing & Auto-Renewal

Paid plans are sold as automatically recurring subscriptions. Payments are processed by our payment provider and merchant of record, Polar Software Inc. ("Polar").

Recurring charges. By starting a subscription, you authorize us (through Polar) to charge your payment method the applicable subscription fee at the start of each billing period, on a recurring basis. Your subscription renews automatically and charges will recur until you cancel. This is disclosed at checkout, and by completing checkout you expressly acknowledge and agree to it.

Immediate access. Your plan's features and usage quota become available immediately after payment. By completing checkout you expressly request immediate performance of the Service and acknowledge that, where applicable law provides a withdrawal or "cooling-off" right for digital services, you lose that right once performance has begun.

Price changes. We may change subscription prices with prior notice. Price changes take effect at your next renewal; if you do not agree, you may cancel before the renewal date.

4. How to Cancel Your Subscription

You can cancel your subscription at any time, yourself, in the app:

1. Log in to your URLog.io account.
2. Go to the Pricing page (or Profile → Subscription).
3. Click the Cancel button on your current plan and confirm.

When you cancel, your subscription remains active until the end of the billing period you have already paid for, and you keep full access to paid features until that date. You will not be charged again after cancellation. If you change your mind before the period ends, you can click Resume to continue your subscription. Cancelling does not entitle you to a refund of any fees already paid, including for the unused remainder of the current billing period. If you need help cancelling, contact us and we will process the cancellation for you.

5. Refund Policy

All payments are final and non-refundable. Because the Service grants immediate access to paid features and metered AI usage upon payment, we do not offer refunds or credits for any subscription fees, including (without limitation): partially used or unused billing periods, unused usage quota, cancellation part-way through a billing period, forgetting to cancel before renewal, accidental purchases, dissatisfaction with AI transcription quality, or account termination for violation of these Terms.

Nothing in this policy limits any rights you have under mandatory consumer-protection law in your jurisdiction that cannot be excluded by agreement; where such law requires a refund, we will honor it. Refund requests, disputes, and chargebacks are handled by Polar as merchant of record in accordance with its own policies.

To avoid being charged for a renewal you do not want, cancel at least 24 hours before your renewal date (see Section 4).

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including: uploading content you do not have the right to process; attempting to circumvent usage limits, quotas, or API authentication; reselling the Service without authorization; or using the Service for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

7. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, URLog.io shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim arising out of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three (3) months preceding the claim.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
